ITINERARY IN DETAILS:
| Day 1 |
MOSCOW/ARRIVAL |
| Day 2 |
MOSCOW - FULL DAY SIGHT SEEING |
AM | City tour (walk at Red Square, visit to GUM department store, view from Sparrow Hills)
In the morning enjoy the first sights of Moscow during the city tour, passing the main streets and boulevards of the ancient city, that is 855 years old.
Go to the best viewpoint on Sparrow hills, from which you could easily see most of the city. Sink in the atmosphere of the medieval Russia, when even daughters of tsars were doomed to become nuns (such were the rules), visiting the refined New Maiden Convent (outside). This is one of the most beautiful of the city collection of buildings, located to the south-west of the city centre, with 16 gilded domes, founded in 1524. Many noble women, including Peter the Great’s first wife and his sister took vows and spent the rest of their lives here and are buried here. |
| PM | Kremlin (territory, cathedrals, Armoury)
In the afternoon visit the oldest part of Moscow – the Kremlin. You might be surprised how many ancient and magnificent structures one can see within its walls: 15th century cathedrals (the coronation, wedding and bury place of Russian rulers), bell-tower, Patriach’s Palace, Grand Kremlin Palace and of course the richest museum - Armoury.
The Armoury has a fantastic collection of insignia of Imperial power, precious clothes, ceremonial harness and unique collection of imperial carriages. The 17th century throne of Alexey Romanov covered with a mosaic of turquoises and 900 diamonds, a pheloneon of Metropolitan Platon decorated with 150,000 pearls (it took the embroiderer 2 years to work on the pattern!), the famous Faberge eggs – is a tiny part of the whole collection. |
| Day 3 |
HALF DAY SIGHT SEEING |
| AM | Tretyakov gallery by metro, metro tour
The Tretyakov gallery is a unique museum where one can have a perfect chance to get acquainted with the best samples of the Russian art. The founders of it, brothers Pavel and Sergei Tretyakov used their family fortune to become important collectors of art. Pavel opened his house to the public in 1856 and later built a new gallery for his paintings, and in 1892, both brothers bequeathed their collections to the city. The Tretyakov gallery reopened in 1995 after a nine-year renovation, and houses the world’s best collection of Russian icons, as well as a fantastic collection of other pre-Revolutionary Russian art.

Have a metro ride afterwards. Moscow underground is not only the fastest means of transportation in the city but also a unique architectural ensemble. Major stations built in 30s of last century look like palaces richly decorated with marble, mosaic and semi-precious stones. |

KAZAN/FULL DAY SIGHT SEEING |
| AM | Arrival to Kazan, city tour, visit to Kazan Kremlin and Millennium Museum of Kazan
During our city tour you will have a splendid opportunity to get acquainted with thousand-year history of the city, its past and the present. You will see the magnificent architectural ensemble of the Kremlin which has kept features of all centuries, the Old-Tatar village with unique architecture of national buildings, strict and majestic buildings, severe buildings of the Kazan State University, cathedrals and mosques.
This is a large interesting and multinational city. Here you can meet old restored Islamic churches next to the Orthodox churches famous by their golden covers. Also there are synagogues, German traditional churches, Hindu temples. UNESCO had acknowledged the Kremlin of Kazan a cultural monument of a world wide importance. You will also visit the famous Prolomnaya Street (nowadays street named after Bauman). The Bauman's street is the central street of the city. Now it is often named like "Kazan Arbat" by analogy with central street in Moscow.
