Established in 1989
Travel Russia was one of the first privately owned travel companies to be set up in the former Soviet Union. We were established in 1989 by a Russian/British partnership who recognized the need in Russia for a travel company who could offer flexibility, ideas, enthusiasm and excellent service.
Network throughout the CIS
The country is huge, and in order to competently look after clients it is important that one company prepares and handles an itinerary so that, in the unforeseen event any problem can be quickly and efficiently resolved. In order to achieve this aim we have main offices in Moscow and Saint Petersburg and affiliated offices in Irkutsk, Vladivostok, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Kiev, Tashkent, Bukhara, Riga.
Our Clients
Our clients come from all over the world and from all sectors of the market. They include tour groups and incentive groups, special interest groups from museums and schools to small private parties and individuals (both tourist and businessman). We have handled itineraries for members of the royal families of Europe, senior political figures, international celebrities and film crews. Our Staff
Most of Travel Russia staff have worked in the company since its establishment hence all are experienced members of the travel industry, with excellent local knowledge. Most importantly we have all travelled extensively abroad and therefore fully understand the requirements and level of service that is expected by foreigners visiting Russia.
Transport
We will provide exactly the right transport for your clients. This will range from luxury air-conditioned Mercedes cars or limousines with bilingual drivers to something a little more modest. We have minibuses of all sizes and larger buses for up to 40 people.
Guides
Guides are an important aspect of any tour and much will depend on the age and interests of the party. As a result, our guides, who are all highly qualified, can be chosen to suit particular requirements ranging from architecture through French impressionism to the night life of the city.
Insurance
Travel Russia holds a comprehensive insurance policy with a UK insurance company.
Emergency Cover
A member of our staff is able to be contacted 7 days a week, 24 hours a day in case of emergency.
