More About Us
This issue might be called "taste of Russia" and is devoted to Russian cuisine which is known the world over. On assimilating the best culinary traditions of the ancient civilizations of the West and East, Russian cuisine has acquired a distinctive character of its own.
The original features and variety of cookery in Russia are largely due to the rich natural gifts of its land - the abundance of fish, mushrooms, berries and honey.
As always we keep you informed about special offers in Moscow hotels.

Sincerely,
Helen Isaeva

Cooking class "Cook and taste Russian borsch" in restaurant "Gurman" in Moscow

It is remarkable that many secrets of cookery were revealed and preserved during the early periods of Russian history in monasteries. Orthodox monks created many recipes, which later became pride items in cookbooks.

The popular magazine "Gastronomist School" get us acquainted with such recipes. The magazine founded the School of Culinary mastery. The school offers master classes of a famous chef and helps to enter into the world of gastronomic guidance.

The best chefs of Moscow invite you to the master class "Cook and taste Russian borsch".

Without any doubts that no cuisine in the world can claim a variety of soups as large as that known in Russian cooking. Original and varied, Russian cuisine is famous for its soups: u-kha (fish soup), shee (cabbage soup), solyanka (spicy vegetable and meat soup), borsch (beet root soup)

You will get the list of ingredients, which you will be needing during the cooking lesson. Your next step is to find out all the necessary food items at the food market, to negotiate the price and to buy them. After that you will be taken into the studio equipped in accordance with the latest technologies. Just go ahead and awake your culinary talent.
