This issue is devoted to Saint Petersburg - "Venice of the North" and one of the most beuatiful cities of the world. It was recently recognized once agian as the best cultural city in the world. Saint Petersburg was awarded the World Travel Awards, considered the Oscar in tourism, left behind Paris, London, Rome, Venice, Sydney, New York, Rio de Janeiro, Beijing and Quito. And anybody can witness it once arriving here. The activities are diverse and we would liek to offer some of them for your groups.

Ballet class and performance of the children ballet theatre

Apart from visiting the world famous Mariinsky we offer you Private ballet performance of kids ballet school. Ballet school leading by V. Kuramshin established in 1994 (in October 2009 it celebrated its 15 anniversary). Vladislav Kuramshin - a graduate of the Leningrad Academic Choreography school (now – Vaganova ballet school), then the ballet dancer of the Kirov (Mariinsky) theater. The Ballet school is a unique institution, because children start professional ballet education here from 5-6 years, and by 10-11 years our pupils achieve such success that they can perform the most difficult elements of classical choreography, such as, for example, 32 fouettes, the golden standard of ballet technique (not every adult ballerina can do it!). The school is a private educational institution. Our theatre has been on ballet tours with great success many times in Germany, Bulgaria, Italy, France, Turkey, Czech Republic, Latvia, Estonia, Spain, Finland and Croatia. It repeatedly became the winner of various international ballet festivals and competitions.

Peter and Paul Fortress and helicopter ride

Standing on a small island at the centre of the Neva delta, the fortress was founded in 1703 by Peter the Great and is the oldest building in St Petersburg. Up to 1917, the fortress was mainly used for holding political prisoners, such as Dostoyevsky, Lenin’s brother Alexander and Peter the Great’s own son Alexei. At the heart of the fortress is the Cathedral of St Peter and St Paul, with its landmark gold spire, where all of Russia’s pre-Revolutionary leaders were buried, apart from Peter, Ivan IV and Nicholas II. Enjoy a 15 min helicopter flight after the tour of the fortress. After instructions board the helicopter to have an exciting flight over the city (the activity is subject to weather conditions).

Have you ever tried Segway? If not, then there is an amazing chance for you! Segway is a two-wheel, self-balancing and ecology friendly electric vehicle. One does not need a permit or license to use it. It is absolutely safe. Before the tour guests get instructions and safety advice. They travel with experienced guides and move only along sidewalks. The tour includes sightseeing of the best sites in the city and can vary depending on the guests wish and the program.
